"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Know what grinds my gears? This is a small rant regarding adoptables.
It irks me when you purchase an adopt, and then you're essentially stuck with it.
I understand that the ones selling adopts out what their creations to go to a nice home, but my thought is that often times those adopts just sit on someone's computer and gather dust. I also understand that not everyone does this, but I personally am guilty of neglecting things I've adopted. ouo
Wouldn't it be nicer if there was a sort of trading community going on? So someone would buy an adopt from you, then if they no longer wanted it they could trade it to someone else for a different design from that person. That way, your art is seen by more people and potentially that adopt could come to be something very special to someone.
The downside of this could be that then it would be difficult to keep track of who has what, so accusations of art theft may arise.
I always leave the option for trades on any adopts I sell, not that people can trade designs for mine, but that they're free to trade my designs. I even usually let people sell the designs for less that what they purchased.
Idk, I'm a design hoarder so I don't generally do much with things I adopt, and sometimes designs lose my interest. Instead of just ignoring them I would love to give them or trade them to someone who does like them.
